Dahlhūs Fudge – Lexington, KY – Small batch, artisanal fudge

People take one look at me and often ask one question: why? Why fudge? And the truth is… I don’t really know. I’ve always loved chocolate and I made a few batches of fudge over the years around the holidays and for friendsgivings and people seemed to love it. After making mess after mess in the kitchen, my wife finally asked me to start selling it and now here we are. 

My background is in advertising and advertising sales but a passion also lies in this hobby. So while I’m doing this, I’ll continue to come up with wacky flavors with silly names. Afterall, we get one life so why not try having a little fun while we’re here?

Our process - what does small batch really mean?

We make our fudge with the same strategy as Cheech and Chong used to take over the 80s: one pot at a time. Small batch means we make everything by hand in small amounts so that every pack you receive is the best possible quality. No two batches will be exactly alike and we want it that way.
